GATE TO THE MUSEUM*

residental Kaohsiung Taiwan Formosa Building

An apartment tower in Kaohsiung is positioned at a major avenue, which leads to the museum of the city. Framing the axial view, the concept makes use of both sides of the street: a tall high-rise at one side and a small commercial building right opposite are acting together as a gate for the throughway. The treatment of the facades underlines the entity of the two buildings.
