The Sheik Zayed National Museum is one of the centerpieces of the new Saadiyat Island Cultural District. It is conceived as a monument and a memorial. Different galleries, showing the culture of the Emirates and the life of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan are housed under a man-made landscaping dune.
